Countertop

Warranty registers against the VIN at install. If a claim comes up, send us photos and we handle the manufacturer side — you're not chasing a national portal while a customer waits in your lobby.

Questions shops actually ask
Straight answers.
Do I have to be an existing shop to become a dealer?
You need a business license and a resale or sales tax certificate for your state. You don't need years in business, a certain revenue, or an existing account elsewhere. New shops and shops adding film to an existing detail or audio business are welcome — we'd rather train you correctly from the start.
What happens if a customer has a warranty issue?
Send us photos, the VIN and the install date. We approve or deny within three business days and ship replacement film at no cost on approved claims. Labor is covered at your posted shop rate up to the panel count on the original invoice. You are not asked to prove the claim to a manufacturer directly.
Can I get film cut to a partial roll?
Yes, on any film we stock, down to a five-foot minimum cut. Partial rolls carry a small per-cut fee at Tier 1 and none at Tier 2 and above.
Do you stock the specialty films, or are they special order?
We keep a working inventory of the most requested specialty films and bring in everything else on about a three-day turn. If you land a countertop, appliance, marine or screen job, call your rep the same day and it will be on your bench before the customer is scheduled.
Do you sell direct to consumers?
No. Tailored sells only to licensed businesses. Consumers who contact us are routed to the nearest active dealer, which is a lead for you rather than competition against you.
How is territory handled?
We don't grant exclusive territory — it tends to protect the wrong shop and punish the good one. What we do control is lead routing, display placement and directory listing, all of which weight toward active dealers by volume and by customer feedback in their ZIP.
What are your shipping cutoffs and lead times?
3:00 PM Mountain for same-day shipment on in-stock items. Utah and Idaho are typically next morning; the rest of the Mountain West, Nevada, Arizona and the Pacific Northwest are one to two business days. Freight for flat-glass master rolls quotes separately.
What are your payment terms?
All orders are prepaid by card, ACH or wire. We don't offer net terms — it keeps our pricing where it is and keeps us on the bench with you instead of in collections.
